Learn the Skills to Create What You Imagine
At Magic of Art Studio, students don’t simply follow step-by-step instructions to recreate the same project. Each young artist works on individual projects chosen according to their interests, experience, and artistic goals, while receiving one-on-one guidance from a professionally trained artist.
Classes are limited to eight students, allowing Ms. Tatiana to work individually with every student throughout the lesson.
Students learn the foundations of drawing, painting, color, composition, perspective, and technique while exploring a variety of professional art materials and media. New techniques are introduced and encouraged, but students have the freedom to develop their own ideas and artistic style.
The result is a balance between creative freedom and real art instruction: students aren’t simply told what to create—they develop the skills to bring their own ideas to life.
What Students Learn
Depending on each student’s age, experience, and interests, instruction may include drawing and sketching, painting, color theory and color mixing, composition and perspective, proportion and observation, and working with media such as watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, and more.
Students progress at their own pace. A beginner can build a strong foundation, while an experienced student can pursue more advanced techniques or receive guidance preparing a portfolio for a competitive visual arts program.
More Than a One-Size-Fits-All Art Class
No two young artists are exactly alike—and their artwork shouldn’t be either.
Classes are appropriate for ages 6 and up, from beginners through advanced students. Private lessons are also available upon request.
